Zero O’Clock at the Blood Moon Door

There we are.

Standing at the door.

Zero o’clock.

No countdown. No drumroll. Just that quiet hum that happens when time folds in on itself and says, This is it.

Everything you were supposed to fix by now is either fixed… or fossilized.
Every apology you meant to make either found its way out of your mouth… or calcified behind your teeth.

There is no extension on this hour.

The moon is bleeding red over our shoulders. Mercury has turned backward again, tugging at old conversations, missed calls, unsent messages, the words that were spoken too fast and the ones swallowed too slow. Three is never good company when one is ego, one is truth, and one is fear.

We step forward together.

Apart.

You go your way. I go mine.
If our paths cross again, it will not be because we forced it. It will be because something inside us finally aligned.

This is not an ending.
It’s a timeline split.

On the other side of this door are the consequences of every delay. Communication misfires. Travel reroutes. Emotions swelling like tides that refuse to be ignored. The patience it will take to survive the next few hours, days, years without turning bitter.

The light is on now.

It cannot be turned off.

You cannot dim revelation just because it burns your eyes.

You want to hear my story.
But you don’t want to carry its weight.

You will see me the way you need to see me in order to survive yourself.
Hero. Villain. Lesson. Projection.

The truth?

The truth is reserved for the ones who are brave enough to hold it without reshaping it.

You will believe whatever helps you sleep.
You will build a version of me that keeps your narrative intact.

But it was never them.

It was always you.

And when you can stand in that mirror without rearranging the reflection, then you can stand in front of me again.

The changing of the guards has begun.

Shift change.

There is a new leader at the podium. Not louder. Not crueler. Just awake. The future self has entered the room, and the old patterns are being escorted out without applause.

This is preparation season.

Right or wrong is no longer about morality.
It’s about direction.

Do you turn toward clarity?
Or do you stay loyal to confusion because it feels familiar?

Do you see through the illusion?
Or do you keep wandering the maze, convincing yourself the walls are destiny?

Everything rides on what you choose right now.

Not yesterday.
Not someday.

Right here. Right now.

Will you bite your tongue and let pain speak for you anyway?
Or will you stitch the wound while singing your own song?

Will you keep bleeding publicly so someone else can feel powerful?
Or will you quietly heal where no one can clap for it?

You cannot escape what you’ve done.

But you can decide who you are when it is revealed.

Because when we step through this door, every shadow is backlit.
What you wore in private becomes visible in public.
What you said in whispers echoes.

You don’t get to ask for the light to dim just because you were comfortable in the dark.

No one warned you the night would feel endless.

But here we are.

In one hand, you hold the secret.
In the other, the lie.

Both are heavy.

Only one will let you walk forward without dragging chains.

This is zero o’clock.

The door is open.

All eyes are not on me.

They are on you.

Will you speak the truth?

Or will you exhaust yourself protecting something that was never strong enough to survive the light?
