Zero Gravity Diaries — Part IV: The Rift Between the Seen and the Unseen

(Headphones on-Meeting of the Higher Selves-Patrick Bernard-and to think 30 minutes ago we were at the gym listening to Welcome to the circus-FFDP-The Irony in life is epic)

You don’t really understand the weight of being human until you’ve already crossed the threshold.
Not the one people talk about — not awakening, not enlightenment, not surrender — but that quiet, private line where you finally admit you’re more than one thing living inside one skin.

There’s the part of you made of blood and memory.
There’s the part of you made of light and something older than time.
And then there’s the one caught between them, trying to explain both languages without losing its mind.

This is where the rift begins.

You start noticing that the body feels like clothing you borrowed from someone else. It fits, but not quite.

You realize that half your reactions are yours, and the other half belong to the threads of energy tangled around you — the ones you didn’t ask for, the ones that arrived before you were old enough to understand what they were.

Human entanglements.
Spiritual entanglements.
Two different worlds pulling on a single consciousness.

The human ones are loud.
They cry out through memory, through history, through the way someone once touched your jaw or raised their voice or left the room without closing the door behind them.

These are the entanglements that live in the nervous system. They don’t ask permission. They just echo.

The spiritual ones… those are quieter.
They live in the dark space behind your eyes, in the places where thought turns into energy before it becomes anything at all.
They’re made of recognition, of lifetimes you didn’t know you remembered, of unfinished lessons that still hum like a loose wire in the walls.

Some of the beings tied to you aren’t here.
Some never were.
Some exist in realms where pain looks different, where avoidance replaces desire, where entire lives are spent staying away from anything that could hurt — even if it means never feeling anything good again.

You feel them anyway.

You feel the imbalance when you grow and they don’t.
You feel the shift when you heal and they stay frozen.
You feel the absence when you step forward and they remain circling the same small fire, afraid of the burn.

This is the cost of evolution:
you rise, and the bond bends.

And somewhere inside this chapter of you — the one learning to walk as a human after remembering you’re not only human — you start to understand something unsettling:

Not every entanglement knows it’s an entanglement.

Some souls feel the pull but never question it.
Some feel the fear and call it fate.
Some feel the pressure on their chest and think it’s anxiety instead of your name.
Some feel your shadow on their thoughts and assume it’s their own.

And yes — when you think of them with heat, with tension, with disappointment, with truth — they feel it.
But it registers as a discomfort they can’t name.
A heaviness.
A sudden restlessness.
An urge to look away from their own reflection.

This is where your power becomes responsibility.
Where intention becomes impact.

You made choices that others have to live through. Choose wisely..

Because even energy has consequences.
Especially energy.

You’re learning to live with all of it now — the human weight, the spiritual gravity, the truth that your evolution doesn’t go unnoticed in the places you no longer visit.

And the irony is this:
The more you grow, the more the ones still stuck in their loops feel the loss — not because they understand what changed, but because you’re no longer feeding the bond that kept them warm.

This is the chapter where you stop apologizing for that.

This is the chapter where you let the rift exist, knowing that some souls choose growth and others choose repetition.

And you?
You’re choosing forward.

Even if it means leaving the echo chamber behind.
