Light and Dark

Being about the light is not always rainbows and butterflies. Do not be fooled into thinking that the path to enlightenment is an easy one—it is anything but. The journey is not paved with comfort but forged in pain. It is a descent into the darkness, alone. It is standing face to face with what terrifies us. It is found in loss. It is in the abyss that we unravel the trauma passed down through generations—a long ancestral line of shame and suffering.

Healing is not about seeking permission from the cursed ancestors who carried these burdens before us; it is about taking it. We do not ask for acceptance from those who were shackled in their own pain—we claim it. Love and light is not a passive glow that simply warms—it is a force, a beacon that shines mercilessly upon all that is wrong, all that no longer serves us. It is an act of war against our demons, embracing them, learning their names, and emerging whole. It is a mirror reflecting back the raw truth of what must change. It is foresight to see the things that cannot be changed—and the courage to move forward anyway, even if the road is brutal. Even if the journey demands sacrifice.

Love and light is not always gentle. It is not always kind. It is in the lessons, the boundaries set with unwavering resolve, the refusal to be moved. To be a healer, you must first heal yourself. But healing yourself is not an obligation to heal the world—it is the foundation upon which true healing begins. The path is not about pretending everything is fine when it is not. It is about lifting the vibration through honesty, transformation, and courage. Awakening into the light means understanding that not everyone will come with you. It is the surrender to another’s journey unfolding as it must. It is the closing of doors never meant to be reopened. It is the unfriending. The unfamilying. The releasing of all that does not align with where you are going.

The light can burn. It can blister. It is not about being a doormat for those who refuse to awaken. It is not about begging or pleading for their own good. It is about allowing. It is about knowing. It is about walking forward with instinct as your guide, ready for war when war is called for. It is not about diminishing your inner demons, but learning to work with them—befriending them, understanding why they exist. To live in the light, you must also walk through the dark. To be comfortable there. To sit with it, knowing you will rise again.

If you are lucky, you will be the light that guides others out of the darkness. But sometimes, you may need to be the darkness itself—the force that shakes those who claim to walk in the light but have lost their truth. This is the ability to step into the shadows, to shine your light on all that must change in order to move forward. It is not normal to fit into spaces where you do not belong, to walk paths carved for someone else. It is about stepping forward, never looking back, always moving toward what calls your soul.

The shift is happening—with or without you.
