Gym JUDGMENT Myth

No One is Judging You at the Gym—Get That Out of Your Head

You’d be surprised how many people don’t care about you or what you’re doing at the gym. Seriously, we’re all there for our own purpose. Now, don’t get me wrong—people-watching is absolutely a sport, but it’s not what you think. Gym bros and girls- Some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, even if they look intimidating. We’ve all started somewhere, and some of us are still on that journey.

You’re bound to make mistakes with the equipment. Heck, even the meatiest, most seasoned bodybuilders make mistakes. We drop weights. We trip over machines. We bump our heads. We overestimate how much we can lift. And sure, we might look like we belong there, but that comfort-It comes with time. No one is judging you, so don’t judge us either.

Yes, we see you. We watch people while we do cardio—it’s just a way to pass the time. Sometimes, we’re eyeing your workout because it looks interesting, and we might want to add it to our own routine. We all have days where we don’t want to be there, but we show up anyway. And some days, we’re so locked in that we don’t want to leave.

And yes, we notice the ego lifters. We see the gym fits strutting around. But guess what? We still don’t care. We know you think you look good, and that’s fine. In the end, gym time is about being selfish in the best way possible—it’s about showing up for yourself. We’re not there for you, and no one is there to judge you.

So go ahead—try that new exercise you’ve been thinking about. It doesn’t have to be perfect. If your form isn’t spot on yet, you’ll get there. The important thing is, you’re doing it. But if you’re coming to the gym just to judge us- That’s cool too. Judge all you want—we’ll still be here, showing up, putting in the work, and minding our own business.

No one is judging you. Now go lift.
